     My nine year old Chinese Crested was recently diagnosed with Diabetes. Due to my work schedule, I would be unable to give him the necessary insulin injections on a consistent basis. I certainly wanted Romeo to get the best care possible. He is such a sweet, loving dog. I posted Romeo on Rescue Me and had five people contact me the first day. I am so grateful that in this world we live in that there are such kind caring people out there.

     My friend who had two Chinese Crested dogs was injured and needed surgery. I told her that I knew of a great group that helps find homes for dogs just like hers. Yesterday evening, I posted the pups to on Rescue Me and had several people interested. I spoke with everyone who was looking and found a family that would take both of the dogs together. There were others who wanted the dogs and I was so happy that there are that many people that want to help be forever homes to the dogs. Thank you everyone for making this adoption happen.      I was lucky enough to find little Zoe on the Rescue Me website. I picked her up on Saturday. She is the perfect addition to my family. Zoe is outgoing, curious, and an extremely happy puppy. Everyone has already fallen in love with her!

     I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the service your website does. My mother had to move in with me for health reasons and she had three dogs that were just too much to add to the dogs my son and I already had in a small duplex. I put all three dogs on your website last weekend, and by Sunday night had found homes for all of them! Cooper, a powderpuff Chinese Crested is such a great dog and his new Mom came and got him tonight. She drove over six hours to pick him up. I think they are going to be great friends. She will give him all the attention he deserves that we couldn't. We are so thrilled! Thanks again!

     I unfortunately had to rehome one of my Chinese Cresteds, and had heard through family to try Rescue Me! I'm so thankful I did, for I found the best home for him. I got multiple responses within the first 48 hours; and, the first person ended up being a perfect fit for my sweet baby. She has another Chinese crested for him to play with while she is at work during the day, and no kids or men for him to be scared of. She has great knowledge of the breed, and a caring heart that was ready to take in my sweet Ziggy. I even get regular updates on him, and get to go visit him when I want. Thank you so much, Rescue Me! I don't know that I could have found a better home for my boy without this site! Ashley

     Rescue Me! has helped me place several dogs in a forever home since I have learned of it... How did I get along without it? It is a wonderful and much needed site... I am behind this site and I recommend it to any one looking to adopt a new member into the family... Thank you Rescue Me! for helping me be able to rescue more critters in need. Most recently we adopted out Chubby, a Chinese Crested rescue. He is leaving and going all the way to Wisconsin. I have talked to the lady who will be making the trip to come get him and I really don't think I could have found a more fitting home for him. They are so perfect for each other. I live in Louisiana and she in Wisconsin so without www.RescueMe.Org there is no way Chubby and his soon to be new family would have ever been brought together.

     Millie is a Chinese Crested Powderpuff and was my mother's companion throughout her battle with cancer. She was originally a rescue dog from a breeder farm and my mom did a lot of work for years with her to get her out of her shell. Sadly my mom passed away in Oct 2012 and we were unable to give Millie the time and love she needed. I did a web search and posted her on Rescue Me! and I was contacted by someone within 5 minutes. We agreed to meet in a few days so the possible new family could meet her. In the meanwhile I was contacted by 3 other families. The original family met her and decided to adopt her. Thank you Rescue Me! for helping get my mom's friend into a new loving home.

     Oscar found a forever home...Because of Rescue Me! I rescued him from an abusive home, but could not spend enough time with him to properly rehabilitate him. Sometimes love just isn't enough and it takes someone with a special touch and skill to help their full personality blossom. It was hard to let my sweet little boy go, but I loved him enough to want him to flourish. He hid under my bed most of the day and would only come out at night to sleep in bed with me. His new owner says he is now playing with other dogs, he will let others pet him (but only while in her lap), he has passed an obedience class and loves to swim. She sends me regular updates and pictures and I am brought to tears of joy to see how happy he is and to know I made the right decision. Thank you so much Rescue Me! From me, from Oscar and from his new owner and forever home.

     Jeff -- Unbeknownst to me, Kirby's original owner from San Diego, CA had just decided to get another animal and just happened upon your website and poof - there he was, her favorite dog that she had to give away because she moved from a house to an apartment. What timing...you just never know what will happen. I'm so glad to give Kirby back to her...and thank you for your website. Some things are just meant to be and Kirby is meant to be with Doris!
