Bai pronounced 'Bay' is a female PP Chinese Crested that was born into rescue. She is the sweetest thing, likes to play, LOVES to cuddle. Likes to lay on your lap to take naps, gives kisses. She is doing great going on peepads almost 100% of the time. She will be spayed, UTD on vaccines, wormed and microchipped before adoption. Neil is very sweet, outgoing and enjoys playing. While he is very tiny and will need a home that will take extra care with him, he doesn't shy away from roughhousing. He has adjusted to his new home and foster family which include 8 other dogs. While he will play at the drop of a hat, he loves to cuddle and likes to give a few kisses here and there. We are working on potty training and are having great success. It is by no means finished but we have only had to potty accidents inside. Alex is a great little guy. Very tiny and will need someone special to watch out for him. He is in a new foster home in Alabama and is enjoying the warm weather. He does get very car sick. He is proving to be very accepting of new place, people and pets, however relies on his brother Neil to lead the way. He will shy away until his brother comes and jumps in front and then he is very happy and ready to accept petting. He is nervous with being picked up but once he is in your arms he wants to burrow and get as close to your warmth as possible. He will even get in your shirt and sleep. Super sweet. On November 17, 2012, Zelda was rescued from a PuppyMill with three tiny babies. Babies are weaned and Zelda is waiting for a home of her own. Pregnancy and nursing took it's toll on her hair. With some a good diet and her hormones getting back to normal we know she'll look beautiful. She's been through a lot and been a breeder for so many years. Vin is ready and waiting for someone to spoil him. He loves people and other dogs. Play and cuddle time - he can't figure out which one he likes most. Emma is a Powder Puff Chinese Crested who came from a kennel close out sale. She was pretty afraid of most things when she first came and would hide any chance she could. She now has more confidence yet will still dart across the room if something frightens her. Loud noise, fast movements send her into a barking state until she realizes again where she is and who you are. Emma loves to cuddle on the couch as well as play with the other dogs. She is ok with cats but she will chase them whenvever they jump off something or run. Emma still has a little ways to go until she completely trusts people. We feel she would do best in a home ... She is a funny little girl who seems to get along great with everyone. She walks well on a leash but would really rather just run around in the fenced yard. She is pretty well housetrained but when she can't get outside she uses wee wee pads. Chell is not crated and does great !. Crating seems to stress her. She has a funny little grin when she gets excited and brings a smile on your face when you meet her. She has been around children that are 5 and up - she's a little afraid of them and will run. Chinese Crested Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. The Chinese Crested is a rare breed that is generally hairless. Chinese Cresteds are playful, loving, and great with children. Rough play may irritate the skin of a Chinese Crested. Chinese Cresteds have a lot of energy and need plenty of exercise, but are well suited to apartment life. Dog sweaters are helpful to Chinese Cresteds when it is cold outside.
